Child & Family Services NH Case Study
Security Guard and Patrol Services in New Hampshire
A Child & Family Service agency in New Hampshire looked to American Alliance Security Agency, its first-time physical security provider, to provide an efficient security protocol to deter crime from the area.
With the issues of trespassing, violence, loitering, drug dealing, vandalism, and theft surrounding its inhabitants, the child and family service agency known as Waypoint NH was interested in having an armed security guard patrol outside its residence. With one armed security officer patrolling the entire property, the client felt that a huge presence of authority would deter most of the crime away.
American Alliance Security Agency's regional manager performed a thorough analysis of areas of concern through a risk assessment.
Through the examination of the property by the regional manager, it was decided that the best way to handle a situation like this was to have the armed guard conduct foot patrols around the perimeter of the building every 30 minutes. In between the foot patrols, the guard would stay posted on foot by the building's entrance, displaying a uniformed presence to those potentially wanting to cause any harm.
Due to the presence of the security guard, loitering, vandalism, theft, and fights were no longer the case. The surrounding streets became more quiet following the first day our services began. According to the local residents, they also felt much relief as the area was known to be drug-infested. A strong presence of uniformed authority deterred unwanted individuals away.
